For example, why can't we assume that this is an author or editor who just happened to by chance have both of these books, The Forest of Symbols by Turner and One God by Soloway, published at the same time? I'm pretty sure that this is not the case for two reasons. One God is published by Cornell University Press, and the editor is listed as Mario G. Soloway. If they were both published in the same place (which I think is a bit unlikely, since the field of linguistics is very specific), I would expect them to be published by the same place. The title page of One God says: Cornell University Press. The title page of The Forest of Symbols says: Cornell University Press. Since Cornell University Press is listed as the publisher, I think that this is more likely than Soloway being the editor. Second, the book One God was reviewed in December, but ac619d1d87
